The names of the opening and ending songs as well as the artist of Spy X Family Season 2 have been revealed.
As revealed by ComicBook.com, the opening theme song is called “Kurakura”, which means “shining”, a phrase that can be applied to many of the main actors. Ado, a famous female singer from Japan and recently known for playing the character Uta in One Piece: Red, will sing this song. The ending credits are titled “Todome no Ichigeki” and were performed by Vundy with Cory Wong. While the full tracks haven’t been released yet, you can hear clips of them in the Spy X Family Season Two trailer.
Agent X family returns
The latest trailer of the popular anime series has revealed many things that make fans both curious and looking forward to it. At the end of the first season, Loid Forger finally gets his wish regarding the main goal of “Operation Strix”. Through his “daughter” Anya, he met Donovan Desmond and memorized their last names, potentially setting up future interactions with him in later episodes. Agent Twilight is tasked with getting closer to Desmond so he can help prevent war between their two nations, and it’s the first big step toward doing just that.
Elsewhere, Yor Forger struggled for much of the season trying to maintain her cover as an assassin while also learning how to be a good wife to Loid and a good mother to Anya. Initially, she agrees to “pretend” to be Loid’s wife due to a number of people closely monitoring her, including single women of a certain age. But as she plays the role, she becomes more attached to Anya and gradually develops feelings for Loid. In the Spy X Family Season 2 trailer, we see the two dating and the potential feelings they may have.
As for Anya, her telepathic abilities have sometimes helped her “father” and “mother” but have also backfired on her many times. However, she continues to give it her all because she truly loves her family. By the end of Part 1, she has a new “partner in crime”, a dog named Bond, who has the ability to see the future. The two used their combined powers to save Loid’s life, and the new trailer implies that his vision will help save everyone once again.
Spy X Family Season 2 will premiere on October 7.
