The fifth compiled volume of Peko Watanabe's Koi Janee Kara (This Ain't Love, Got It?) manga revealed on Tuesday that the series will end in the sixth volume.
The manga revolves around three individuals with a connection from the past 26 years. Yukari and Akane were best friends in high school, and Yukari herself was in love with a teacher named Imai. 26 years later, when the three are separated, Imai has become a sculptor, and his new work depicts a young girl who makes Akane look like Yukari in high school. As Akane reconnects with her old best friend, painful memories of nostalgia gradually turn into guilt. The relationships of these three in the present gradually shed light on the past.
Watanabe launched the manga in Kodansha's Morning two magazine in September 2021.
