This chapter begins by pointing out the difficulties of filming scenes out of order due to unavailability of locations, a typical problem in filmmaking.
Even with this challenge, Melt Narushima's performance as Gorou Amamiya did not meet Ruby's expectations. She believes that the role of the Doctor should be played by a more talented actor, such as Taiki Himekawa.
Ruby continuously criticizes Melt's acting, especially his performance in Sweet Today, until she sees an Ai pin on his outfit.
She is surprised by his connection to the pin, and Melt explains that he added it in memory of a patient who passed away and was a fan of his idol Ai.
He feels that the Doctor, being a true fan, would not wear the pin in front of Ai, which shows insight into his character.
Impressed by Melt's explanation, Ruby has a great change of heart and begins to appreciate his acting. She is so moved that she wants to learn from him, and Melt agrees to be her mentor.
In Oshi no Ko Chapter 144, the story switches to Ruby meeting Tsukuyomi the next day. Ruby's curiosity about Tsukuyomi's abilities causes her to question her own skills as Aqua and Ruby.
At first, Tsukuyomi appeared defensive but then confidently asserted her acting talent. However, Ruby's constant questioning annoyed Tsukuyomi.
