Warning: Spoilers for One Piece chapter #1100
A piece is a series that excels at presenting emotional moments, and the latest manga chapters have established that the reunion between Kuma and Bonney could be even more dramatic than the highly anticipated reunion between Luffy and Shanks. The last time readers saw Luffy, he had finally avenged the Straw Hats’ greatest loss, taking down Admiral Kizaru on Egghead Island. However, the overwhelming entrance of Saint Saturn of the Five Elders and his confrontation with Bonney is the catalyst for a pivotal flashback that ensures that when Kuma inevitably shows up, it will be heartbreaking.
The manga chapters following the tragic history of Kuma and his adopted daughter Bonney became an emotional rollercoaster in One Piece’s epic Egghead Island arc. Although it contains many shocking revelations, author Eiichiro Oda may be preparing readers for the scenes that will make Kuma and Bonney’s potential reunion even more possible. more emotional than the expected meeting of Luffy and Shanks.
Chapter #1100 finally introduces Kuma to a cure for Bonney’s fatal illness, but at a high cost. To ensure her safety, Kuma must not only become a Sea Lord for the World Government, but must also give up his body and free will. Another cruel rule from Saint Jaygarcia Saturn prohibits Kuma from meeting Bonney after she is cured, a reunion that the manga seems almost ready to make happen.
Now that Bonney knows the truth, Kuma’s arrival at Egghead seems necessary
After Dr. Vegapunk was caught collaborating with the pirates, the World Government took it upon themselves to intervene in Kuma’s mission to save Bonney’s life. Elder Saturn agrees to cure Bonney, but Kuma will be forbidden from seeing her once she is healed, a cruel deal considering the innocent girl’s dream of traveling the world with her father. However, Kuma’s extreme joy upon hearing that his daughter could be saved is impressively portrayed through Oda’s artwork and shading. This larger-than-life character’s emotional response makes sense considering all the traveling and dead ends the devoted father encountered while trying to ensure that Ginny’s daughter had a happy and entirety.
Even though the Kuma flashback isn’t over yet, readers have enough context to know that things didn’t go well for either Bonney or Kuma after their first meeting with Dr.Vegapunk. Bonney’s father is a very different man than when he faced the Straw Hats on Thriller Bark. With added context, his previous actions take on a different meaning. How much of Kuma is still alive in his original body remains a great mystery, a mystery that was recently rekindled when Kuma’s seemingly mindless body began to move, towards a mysterious direction. That, combined with Bonney’s desire for revenge fueled by knowledge of Kuma’s past, ensures that if the two face each other on Egghead, it will be a tearful reunion for both the character and Readers.
Kuma (Or what’s left of him) may be on his way to Egghead Island
In the previous chapter, readers witnessed Kuma, after being turned into a mindless slave by the Heavenly Dragon and rescued by his former comrades in the Revolutionary Army, began to move and find his way to a confusingly undisclosed location, possibly Egghead. . With Luffy exhausted after his battle with Admiral Kizaru, many readers expected Kuma to arrive in time to save Bonney from Saturn. While A piece fans have long been looking forward to the reunion of Luffy and Shank, it will have a high standard to contend with after the emotional weight and hopefully there is a satisfying conclusion at the end of the confrontation between Bonney, Kuma and Saint Saturn on Egghead Island.
