Video reveals, previews theme song 'Arigatō Kokoro Kara'
The official website of Gekijо̄-ban Nintama Rantaro Dokutake Ninja-tai Saikyо̄ no Gunshi (Nintama Rantaro the Movie: The Dokutake Ninja Team's Strongest Strategist) , the first anime film in the Nintama Rantaro anime series in 13 years, has revealed Full trailer, key photos and three more cast members on Tuesday. The video reveals and introduces the theme song “Arigatō Kokoro Kara”(Thank You From the Bottom of My Heart) by Naniwa Danshi.

Yasuhiro Mamiya as Happōsai Hieta (replacing the late Shōzō Iizuka, who voiced the character in the anime series), the head of the Dokutake ninja

The film will open in Japan on December 20.
The film is based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Kazuhisa Sakaguchi, revolving around the story of Hansuke Doi, Rantaro's teacher who lost the battle with Sonnamon and Zatto Konnamon who became a teacher at the Ninjutsu Academy.
The returning cast includes:
Additionally, Naniwa Danshi members Ryūsei Ōnishi and Jōichirō Fujiwara will appear in the film as guest voice actors.
Masaya Fujimori (Doremon) will return from the previous film to direct the new installment at Ajia-do, the same animation studio for the television series. Original novel writer Sakaguchi is writing the script.
Naniwa Danshi will also perform the Nintama Rantaro anime series' theme song “Yūki 100%” (Courage 100%), which will be used in the film. Goro Matsui wrote the lyrics and Kōji Makaino composed the music for Naniwa Danshi's new song “Arigatō Kokoro kara”, composed specifically for the film. Matsui and Makaino also wrote and composed the theme song “Yūki 100%”.
The previous film of the Gekijō-ban Anime series Nintama Rantaro Ninjutsu Gakuen Zenin Shutsudō! no Dan debuted in March 2011.
The 31st film in the Nintama Rantaro anime series premieres in April 2023. The 32nd film premieres in April 2024.
Soubee Amako's original Rakudai Ninja Rantarō ninja gag manga revolves around Rantarō, a ninja apprentice at an elite ninjutsu academy in historical Japan. As elementary school students, Rantarō and his fellow ninja apprentices were called “Nintama”— an abbreviation of the words “ninja” and “tamago” (“egg”).
The manga inspired the 1993 Nintama Rantaro television anime, and NHK-E is still airing the 10-minute anime every weekday. The manga also inspired two anime films and two live-action films. Takashi Miike directed his first live-action film.
