As mentioned earlier, Nishikawa contributed a total of six songs to the Mobile SuitGundam Seed series. He sings the opening numbers “Invoke” and “ignited,” as well as singing songs like “Meteor,” which appear as cut songs. Nishikawa also voices supporting character Miguel Aiman and narrates a summary. In the sequel, Destiny, he appears as FAITH member Heine and appears in several episodes.
Hirai’s drawing of Nishikawa shows him wearing a Compass uniform, similar to the outfit Kira wears in promotional materials for the film. Coincidentally, the three main songs that will appear in the film—“Freedom” by Nishikawa, “Sarigiwa no Romantics” by See-saw, and “Reborn” by Nami Tamaki—all came out on the same day Hirai posted this image .
