My Love Story with Yamada-kun At Lv999 by Mashiro will be adapted into a live-action film and premiere in Japan on March 28, 2025.
The film will star Ryuto Sakuma from HiHi Jets and Mizuki Yamashita from Nogizaka46, who will play the main roles Akito Yamada and Akane Kinoshita.
A trailer and images have been revealed to commemorate this announcement.

The film is directed by Yuka Yasukawa and written by Anna Kawahara.
My love story with Yamada-Kun is level 999 manga author Mashiro expressed excitement about the adaptation, saying: “I'm very happy that My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Level 999 is being made into a movie. I am very grateful to the production team and fans who supported this project. When I first heard about it, I had a feeling of inauthenticity, but now I'm gradually absorbing it! Staying close to the original story, the film will deliver a unique cinematic experience. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope Yamada-kun's fans will be excited too!“.
My love story with Yamada-kun in Lv999 begins serialization in Smart's Comic Ganma! manga website in March 2019. As of April 2024, the individual chapters of the series have been collected into nine volumes.
The anime television series adaptation produced by Madhouse aired from April to June 2023.
