Chapter 235 ended on such a high note that the reader couldn’t help but wonder what was going to happen next. At the end of the chapter it is clearly stated that Gojo won the battle of the strongest, defeating Sukuna. However, even though Sukuna was seriously injured, he was not dead. And therefore, there is no guarantee that he will not strike next.
Since we can’t be sure about what we’ll see in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236, here are some predictions about what’s to come:
Sukuna made a move that completely changed the outcome of the match. He has proven time and time again that there is more to him than he lets on. The next move could be anything – from a secret cursed technique to healing yourself with Inverse engineering. Or he could be really on the verge of exhaustion. There’s little to no chance of Gojo actually killing him since it’s clear from the beginning that Sukuna is one of the main villains of the series, who will play a huge role in Yuji’s fate. proceed to kill Sukuna, Uraume intervene to save the Cursed King. Kenjaku could also be the one to stop Gojo from killing Sukuna. Since Gojo has taken a lot of damage, it’s possible that Kenjaku will use this opportunity to kill him and put him out of the game forever. Because as long as Gojo is alive, Kenjaku has no chance of achieving his goal. Another development that will be interesting to see in the next chapter is whether Megumi will finally appear or not. His condition remains unknown after he suffered the brunt of Mahoraga’s adaptation to the Unlimited Void. Megumi’s reappearance could change the course of events from now on.
