A start date of January 11, 2025 has been announced for the sequel to Mahou Tsukai Precure! 2016, was also revealed to be titled Mahou Tsukai Precure!! ~Mirai Days~.
Mahou Tsukai Precure!! ~Mirai Days~ will be a late night anime with a broadcast time of 2 a.m. JST. The film's website has the tagline: “With the magical words 'Cure Up Rapapa!', two futures will connect!”
The existence of Mahou Tsukai Precure!! a sequel was first announced in 2023. At the time, it was revealed that the show would be part of ANiMAZiNG!!! episode of the late-night animation and is scheduled to air in fiscal year 2024. Animate Times reported a length of 12 episodes.
Also part of the adult fan project is Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~, the sequel to Yes! Precure 5 and Yes! Precure 5 GoGo! will air in 2023.
Original Mahou Tsukai Precure! directed by Masato Mitsuka (Digimon: Ghost Game series director) with series composition by Isao Murayama (Bakugan: Legends) and character designs from Emiko Miyamoto (Dragon Quest: Dai's Grand Adventure). The 13th title in the Pretty Cure series features a story of “miracles and magic” with a magical and non-magical world and has 50 episodes.
The cast of Mahou Tsukai Precure! include Rie Takahashi as Cure Miracle/Mirai Asahina, Yui Horie as Cure Magical/Riko Izayoi, Saori Hayami as Cure Felice/Kotoha Hanami and Ayaka Saito as Mofurun.
