The third season of Love Live! Super star!! The school idol drama will premiere around 2024, it has been announced. The new season was revealed in October 2022.
It was also announced that Love Live! Super star!! Liella! The 5th live concert will be held in Fukuoka and Tokyo early next year. The Fukuoka shows will be held on January 20 and 21 at the West Japan General Exhibition Center, while the Tokyo shows will be held on February 10 and 11 at Musashino Forest Sports Plaza.

Love Live! The first part of Superstar!! premiered in July 2021, while the second season premiered in July 2022. This show is one of many anime taken from Love Live! The multimedia franchise began in 2013. The first season follows five first-year students at Yuigaoka all-girls high school who form the idol group Liella, with the second season adding four new main characters.
Part 3 will see the introduction of Wien Margarete (Na Yui) and Tomari Onitsuka (Sakura Sakakura) in the anime. The two characters were announced in April this year as Liella’s third generation idols, along with news that the current 11-member Liella lineup would be divided into three units.
Love Live! The cast of Superstar!! original included Sayuri Date as Kanon Shibuya, Liyuu as Tang Keke, Nako Misaki as Chisato Arashi, Naomi Payton as Sumire Heanna and Nagisa Aoyama as Ren Hazuki. Then they were joined by Nozomi Suzuhara as Kinako Sakurakoji, Akane Yabushima as Mei Yoneme, Wakana Ookuma as Shiki Wakana and Aya Emori as Tsumi Onitsuka.
Meanwhile, the staff of both parts includes Takahiro Kyougoku be a director, Jukki Hanada as the series composer, Yuuhei Murota as the original character designer, Atsushi Saitou as a character designer, Reiji Kasuga is the art director, Rie Katou as a color designer, Yuuki Iinuma as CG director, Tadashi Kitaoka is the director of photography and Yoshiaki Fujisawa is a composer. Sunrise credited as the cartoon’s producer.
