The series premieres on July 4
MBS revealed more cast on Friday for the live-action series adaptation of Sal Jiang senpai ni Koishiteru's office love manga Ayaka Is in Love with Hiroko (Ayaka-chan wa Hiroko-).

The cast includes (from left to right in top row then bottom row):
Mio Yūki as Risa Komai, a close friend and colleague to Ayaka Kyoya Honda as Yūya Saitō, Ayaka's superior in the sales department Eiku Yamashita as Ryō Kumagai, Ayaka's superior who gets easily carried away Nonoka Kubo as Yumi Kameda, a co-worker who becomes close to Ayaka after an incident Kazuya Seto as Mama, the owner of a lesbian bar
The series will premiere on MBS and TV Kanagawa on July 4, on Chiba TV on July 5, on TV Saitama on July 10, and on Tochigi TV and Gunma TV on July 11.

Idol group Hinatazaka46 member Shiho Katō (right in picture at right) plays Ayaka Usagida, while Kanna Mori (left) plays Hiroko Kanō. Nao Nomura directs the series with a script by Ayumi Shimo.
NTT Solmare Corp's MangaPlaza digital service publishes comics in English. The company describes the story:
Soft and bubbly office girl Ayaka is madly in love with her superior at work, Hiroko! Two lovesick co-workers both think the other is completely in love… the latest office comedy from famous Twitter artist Sal Jiang!
Jiang launched the manga on Futabasha's Web Comic Action manga website in June 2020 and ended it in March 2023. Futabasha published the third and final volume of the manga in the same month.
Jiang's Black and White: Tough Love at the Office (Shiro to Kuro: Black & White) manga launched on Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha's Comic Ruelle manga website in March 2020 and concluded with its third volume in May 2023 Seven Seas licensed the manga in English and published the first compilation volume in October 2022. The second volume of the manga will publish in October 2024.
