Kingdom 777 content revealed
Shin receives reports of his soldiers defeating opponents across the battlefield. He orders them forward when Ten suddenly arrives with urgent news – Riboku has launched a failed surprise attack on Akou and is currently retreating nearby.
Akou is asking for support to pursue him, which means Qin will win immediately. Despite the uncertainty of reaching Riboku in time, Shin decided to go with 10,000 soldiers to attack from the side as capturing Riboku could end the battle.
Shin’s bold move
Shin was worried about diverting so many troops. Ten assures him that Kyoukai is holding the right flank and they just need to delay until Ouhon’s support arrives.
Her advisors worried that Ouhon might not arrive without Ousen’s orders, leaving them vulnerable. Shin calls them stupid – he has known Ouhon for many years.
Shin departed with Red Hi Hyou and Sosui’s cavalry, ordering his fastest infantry to follow. Ten will go after Ouhon arrives and warn Shin to be cautious of Riboku and take revenge on Kanki, Gakurai and Naki.
Shin replies that he still owes Riboku for Ouki. Riboku has always hindered them but now Shin will kill him and become the Great General. With Riboku’s retreat, there is a chance to turn the tide decisively if Shin’s unit can reach him in time.
Akou’s soldiers surrounded Riboku, but reinforcements from both warring sides began pouring into the chaotic battlefield. Zhao’s soldiers were extremely concerned about being greatly outnumbered in battle.
Shin pursues his archenemy
Futei ordered his men to fight while steadily retreating, as they lingered dangerously long within Akou’s siege. More of Futei’s troops continued to arrive to bolster their numbers, and Futei managed to free Riboku from Akou’s siege just as Shin appeared with his unit.
Futei commanded his soldiers to hastily form a defensive wall to cover their escape while Kaine launched a fierce attack on the Hi Shin Unit to hold them back. Both Futei and Riboku begged Kaine to retreat to safety, but she stubbornly clashed with the Hi Shin Unit to buy time for Futei to escort Riboku away.
Shin shouted for his unit to ignore Kaine’s diversion and continue charging forward at full speed to reach Riboku before he ran away. Looking at his long-time rival, Shin thought to himself with steely determination: “This time I will do it. This time, I will reach Riboku.”
A flashback emphasizes the danger by showing Riboku from before, stating that Shin was their main target in this battle. Now, thanks to an unexpected stroke of luck, Shin finally has a golden opportunity to directly confront his archenemy Riboku.
But Kaine and Futei still desperately stood in his way, seeking to cover Riboku’s retreat. The stage is set for a tense showdown between bitter rivals as Riboku once again tantalizes beyond Shin’s control.
