Manga adaptations of The Silent Kanow, The Legends of Tono, The Alchemist, are further announced

Kadokawa announced a new manga brand called Kadokawa Masterpiece Comics on Monday, focusing on manga adaptations of literary classics from around the world.
The studio's first titles include a manga adaptation of Paul Gallico's The Silent Karenow (Neko-go no Kyōkasho) by Katana Sajima on July 20, The Legends of Tono (Tōno Monogatari) by Kunio Yanagita by manga artist Kujiraba released in September, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho by manga artist Tamaki Nakamura released in November, Yasutaka Tsutsui's Lipstick on an Afterimage (Zanzō ni Kuchibeni o) by manga artist by Hiroaki Terada in January 2025 and The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald in March 2025 (no manga creator announced).
