In addition to the ongoing season, studio MAPPA has also animated both the 24-episode first season and the series’ prequel. Akutami Gege writes and draws the original manga licensed by VIZ Media in English. Crunchyroll airs both the anime and the movie, and describes the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with great physical strength, although he lives a completely normal high school life. One day, to save a classmate attacked by a curse, he ate Ryomen Sukuna’s finger, inserting the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shared a body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful magician, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is accepted into Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights against curses… and from there begins the heroic story of a boy who becomes a curse to lift a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
