With Sukuna finished, and Megumi freed, the trio sets out on their final mission in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269. It was definitely a grueling fight, but Megumi is finally free and Nobura is still alive after all this time. But, now they have to save another important character in the series, Ookatsu, who may have been possessed by Rika.
The final chapter starts with Sukuna telling Megumi that he failed and should give up completely. Megumi's sister died at his hands, despite being under Sukuna's control, and there was nothing he could do to protect her. He resigned himself to his fate but Yuji made sure to snap him out of the curse.
We are brought to the present, where Yuji is separated from Sukuna and Megumi, after Yuji's expansion of his domain is disrupted. Yuuji repeats his words to Sukuna about living inside him until he dies and leaving behind what little he has to live on. Sukuna curses that he will continue this farce to the end, and lets himself disappear.
We then see Megumi waking up to find Yuuji and Nobura in her room, Nobura coming out of a box. Megumi is confused about what they are doing and Yuuji reminds him of the play he did with Gojo back then. The ten shadows accept it and then the three talk about their future.
