A short music video was released for the song “Colorful Moonlight” by idol group Sunflower Dolls in the universe of Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night. The original anime series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on April 6, 2024.
The music video highlights the main members of the idol group, including Kano Yamanouchi before she graduated and left.

Yuma Saito directed the music video, with Miyu Hattori (the anime's scenic designer) credited as the artist and Junichiro Taniguchi (the anime's character designer) as the animation director. Kay Ishiguro (the anime's color designer) handled the finishing touches and Takafumi Kuwano (OSHI NO KO) handled the photography.
Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night is produced by Doga Kobo and directed by Ryohei Takeshita (Eromanga Sensei and director of Pokémon: Paldean Winds).
