Three new voice actors will star in the upcoming Haigakura television anime series, which will begin airing in Japan in fall 2024.
The new cast includes Ryohei Kimura as Hiki, Ryota Suzuki as Sanu, and Kazuhiko Inoue as Hakugou.
They join the main voice cast so far including:
• Takeo Otsuka as Ichiyou • Kaito Ishikawa as Tenkou • Lynn as Hakushurin • Hiro Shimono as Ransaiwa • Satoshi Hino as Sonto • Rie Kugimiya as Kaka • Mutsumi Tamura as Ryu • Ayumu Murase as Heikan • Gakuto Kajiwara as Horyusei
Junichi Yamamoto (The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion) will direct the anime, with Yuu Murai (The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion co-writer) serving as series writer, Masaki Sato (Record of Ragnarok) as character designer, and Yuki Kurihara (Blue Orchestra co-writer) as composer. Typhoon Graphics is handling animation production.
The anime is based on the manga by Shinobu Takayama, which ran in Ichijinsha's Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine from January 16, 2008 to May 16, 2015. The manga was later transferred to Zero-Sum Online on September 18, 2015. Sixteen tankobon volumes have been released as of August 2023.

Haigakura is set in a remote world called Senkai, where both gods and mortals live. As the kingdom is on the brink of collapse, a young warrior poet named Ichiyo sets out to capture the gods that have spread throughout the kingdom using a technique called Kessai. Together with his subordinate god Tenko, Ichiyo sets out on a quest to find four evil gods who hold the key to the kingdom's downfall.
