What happened at Go! Go! The ranger lost! Episode #9?
Produced by Yostar Pictures; Directed by Hiroshi Takeuchi
Go! Go! The ranger lost! episode #9, “Battle! Fever! Fighter D!”, continues with D and Kai's team fighting for the keys needed to pass the Bailong Exam. Even with their secret Burst Form, D's team could not completely outperform Kai's team, but thanks to Angel's strategy, Shippou's bizarre physicality, and XX's brutality while disguised as Ranmaru, D's team has obtained all the keys needed to pass the Bailong Exam except the red key.
As D and Kai continued to fight, XX intervened and attempted to kill Kai to get the key, but before she could, Blue Keeper rushes into the scene from above using his Spirit. Realizing that XX was the Beast and not Ranmaru, the Blue Keeper chased XX throughout the testing facility and finally subdued her with his Divine Treasure. Blue Keeper, enraged with XX's state and Peltrola left Aizome behind, then began torturing XX for information, but before she could reveal anything, D arrived and saved her. Meanwhile, D convinces Blue Keeper that he thinks XX is Ranmaru.
Not in the mood to waste time on explanations, Blue Keeper decides to fight D and activates his Spirit to do so. The Blue Keeper's aura has many more diverse abilities than the one he used to kill D, leaving D and XX quickly with no way to fight. The Blue Keeper himself emphasized that when he went to kill people and while talking about how they would pay for what happened to Aizome, D finally accepts that Peltrola is still alive, even though the boss monsters are believed to be dead.
