Go Go Loser Ranger Episode 4 Review: Many important events take place
This anime has shown some crazy developments and it's really going to be interesting from this point on. The moment this episode begins, we see all the dragon keepers in a meeting, discussing their next move. This is also where it is revealed that Yumeko is actually the second strongest member of the Golden Battalion. And even though she has a fairly high status, based on her behavior with her seniors, it seems like she doesn't really get along with them.
After her arrival, the Red Battalion's second-in-command suddenly decided to blame the loss of a divine artifact on the Red Keeper. And he wasn't even being subtle about it, as he was going absolutely crazy about how the Red Keeper should apologize and make way for him immediately. At first, it seemed like the Red Keeper took it all in with a positive attitude, but he later admitted that whoever would replace him would have to be at least as strong as him. With that said, the Red Keeper proves his strength in an extremely brutal and unheroic way.
From this type of interaction and Yumeko's expression, you can see how distorted the world of the Dragon Keepers has become. They no longer deserve to be called heroes, and therefore, there must be a change that shakes the entire system. Now, whether that change will come from within the Dragonkeeper or from an external force like Foot Soldier D is something we'll have to see in the long run.
The second half of the episode is also very special. It's surprising when we get a little deeper into Hibiki's story. He is a rather odd person with dreams and aspirations that do not align with others. Even though he previously had a particularly disturbing experience with one of the villains, he still has a soft corner for villains.
Decision
From the overall episode and conclusion, I can definitely say that this anime is going to be great. The way each episode presents something so unexpected is commendable. Right away, the characters appear to be very interesting and not one-dimensional. Plus, there are shades of gray in this anime where you don't know which is right and which is wrong. For now, I just want to wait for the next episode and see what Foot Soldier D is thinking.
