FLCL Shoegaze is another new season on FLCL, launching in the Fall. FLCL: grunge premiered in September, but the series ended after nearly three episodes.
However, grunge also received many bad reviews and quite a few people were disappointed with the series as a whole. This series is as surprising as it is next part of the series FLCL Alternative.
FLCL Shoegaze will also be long three volumes and this time, we are expecting some good things from the movie. Let’s see if the first episode catches our attention or not.
This series is set 10 years after FLCL Alternative and follows Masaki is 15 years old. He has been seeing a mysterious Phantom every day since the day his town was blown up. However, his life changed after he met an eccentric girl named Harumi.
They also decided to barricade themselves in the mysterious building named Tsuganei Tower. That’s because only Masaki can see one giant and unique bird parked on top of this building.
So the two decided investigate these strange phenomena. The episode ends there as we see some other characters we recognize from the FLCL Alternative series.
We also saw Naoto and Samejima in the original FLCL series.
FLCL Shoegaze Ep 2 spoilers & predictions
This new episode will focus more on Masaki and Harumi’s investigation. Masaki even found more mysteries since he entered this place. He still hasn’t found out what he wanted to know for a long time.
He’s just now reached the new hidden area in the building and this will give us more answers to this season’s mysteries. It seems like the problem could get serious because Interstellar Immigration Bureau is also involved in this case.
Boss Kanda and Agent Kana Koumoto has been brought in since Masaki and Harumi locked themselves in Tsugamei Tower. The police as well as Kanda and Kana are now more interested in the case after they noticed an explosion of some kind in the building.
The top of the building was also mysteriously damaged and this was another case for them to solve. However, we still don’t know intent of the Interstellar Immigration Bureau, as their goals may be different from what we expect.
Since this is an original anime, we will have to wait almost a week to get the answers to all these mysteries.
FLCL Shoegaze Ep 2 release date
FLCL Shoegaze Ep 2 will be released later 4 more daysenter October 8. It’s time to release new episodes 9:30 am IST. However, the series needs a little more time to be updated on streaming services.
Even on official and unofficial streaming services, it can take approx 1-2 more days to make that episode available for streaming. This has been present since grunge took off and continues to this day.
