A press release from the company says that fifteen films from the hit series will be added to Crunchyroll’s already impressive portfolio. There are currently seven tranches and the remaining eight will be available soon out of a total of three releases.
The Dragon Ball franchise began with the publication of manga in 1984. An anime adaptation followed, starting in 1986. Since then, it has become one of the most popular manga and anime franchises. In the world. There have been six animated series and 21 animated series after its debut. For now, Crunchyroll’s streaming options will include movies centered on the Dragon Ball Z series, with a Dragon Ball Super movie also coming soon.
Crunchyroll adds Dragon Ball Z movies to its streaming library
Currently, the following movies are available: Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone, Dragon Ball Z: World’s Finest, Dragon Ball Z: Tree of Might, Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug, Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge, Dragon Ball Z : Return of Cooler and Dragon Ball Z: Super Android 13. This is Crunchyroll’s first release to the franchise. Dragon Ball Z: Dead Zone is the first film set in the timeline of the Dragon Ball Z series, originally released in Japan in 1989, before coming to the United States in 1997. Other films will be released on June 29 and July 6 .
On June 29, Crunchyroll will add: Dragonball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan, Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, Dragon Ball Z: Broly – Second Coming, Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn , and Dragon Ball Z: Rage of the Dragon. On July 9, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F and Dragon Ball Super: Broly will complete this massive release. Spanning from 1989 to 2018, this is an incredible anthology of films, albeit lacking some.
