Welcome to Anime News Network’s Fall 2023 Manga Guide! You may have seen one of our Seasonal Anime Preview Guides, where a group of critics write articles about each new anime TV premiere as it airs at the beginning of the season. Currently, doing the same thing for manga is difficult—there’s no equivalent “seasonal” release schedule for new comics, so here’s what we came up with: a digital survey. amount of manga released in three months with an emphasis on debut series.
This is an ongoing guide. Every day we will update the guide. We also have a survey of notable light novel releases during those months, published on Saturdays!
This guide focuses only on series premieres; We thought that would be the most useful thing to do. Keep in mind that these are Volume One reviews only—we don’t review the entire content or digital chapters beyond volume one. If you have read it in advance, please try not to spoil it for everyone in the forum. All reviews use the same rating scale: 1-5, with 1 being the lowest.
