Amazon Japan is listing that writer Kazami Sawatari and artist Moto Sumida’s Detroit: Become Human-Tokyo Stories manga will conclude with its second compiled volume on December 8. The manga is a spin-off of the game Detroit: Become Human by Quantic Dream.
The spin-off manga series launched online in Kadokawa’s Comic Bridge manga magazine in July 2022. Kadokawa published the first volume on March 8.
The series is set in Tokyo and revolves around a robot idol named Reina. She has to deal with people who think she and other robots are stealing their jobs.
Quantic Dream describes the original game:
Detroit: Become Human is set in the City of Detroit in the year 2038 after the city is revived thanks to the invention and introduction of Android into daily life. But when Androids start acting as if they’re alive, events begin to spiral out of control.
Quantic Dream released the game on PlayStation 4 in May 2018 and on PC via Steam in December 2019.
