Official website of Dragon Ball announced on October 19, 2024 that the voice actors of all the characters who transformed into mini forms in episode 2 of Dragon Ball Daima, including Vegeta, Bulma, and Piccolo, have been recast.
However, it was also revealed that Masako Nozawa will continue to voice Goku in the anime.
A total of 12 voice actors have been revealed, with many of them expressing excitement about joining the franchise.

Mai Nakahara as Bulma (Mini)
I never dreamed that I would get to participate in a movie that I watched as a child like this, so I was very excited when I heard that I had been cast in this role. Reality didn't really sink in during the recording, but during the recording, feeling the staff's emotions for the show helped me regain my spirit. It's an honor to participate!
Yudai Mino as Vegeta (Mini)
The reality and joy of participating as a voice actor in Dragon Ball, a wonderful series that I have been watching for a long time, has gradually sunk in and made me want to give it my all! Tomohiro Yamaguchi as Piccolo (Mini)
I was so happy to get the audition, but when I found out I would play Piccolo (Mini), I was so excited. I went into the recording with the utmost respect for Toriyama-sensei and the show and characters that so many people have loved over the years. It is truly an honor to participate in this program.
Aki Kanada as Krillin (Mini)
When it was announced that I got the role, I was very happy, shocked and worried if I would get the role. Living up to the role I shouted in a funny voice, “Uueeeee?!!” I heard Krillin's youthful voice and found it so cute, kind and cunning that I couldn't imitate it. I am very grateful to be given this opportunity.
Ai Kakuma as Chichi (Mini)
I am SO happy!! It was an honor to audition, but I never imagined that I would voice Chihi (Mini) in an anime. My dad owns and loves the original manga, and I used to watch the anime with my brothers, so this has always been a show very close to my heart and now I can give back to him. my mother! I was looking forward to the drama's broadcast with the hope of surprising my brothers.
Nobuaki Kanemitsu as Kamesennin (Mini)
When it was announced that I would get the role of Kamesennin (Mini), I thought, “ I get to be in Dragon Ball, a show I've loved since I was a kid! And as Kamesennin (Mini) no less!” The world of Dragon Ball DAIMA has just begun. I want to continue supporting Goku and his adventures as master of the greatest warrior in the universe!
Tsubasa Yonaga as Trunks (Mini)
I'm so glad I bounced off the walls!! I've watched Dragon Ball since I was little, and I also pretended to play Dragon Ball with my friends, but I didn't expect to be chosen for this role, so when I was informed of the audition results, I screamed. outside my house!!! I will be watching every week with excitement as a Dragon Ball fan myself!!!
Erina Goto as Dende (Mini)
I remember staring at the script that had the word “Dende (Mini)” written on it at my agency and shouting “What?!” I was full of surprise, joy, and doubt as to whether Is it really for me or not, but I'm really happy. I will enjoy Dragon Ball DAIMA with everyone else!!
Kimiko Saito as Mr. Popo (Mini)
I got to play a role in Dragon Ball, a show I've loved since I was a kid! I'm so lucky, I wish I could tell you about when I was in elementary school when I played “Makafushigi Adventure!” blow the trumpet for the sports festival. When I heard the results of my audition, I was so excited that I screamed in a voice so high that I had never used it that I even surprised myself. That's how happy I am.
Yusuke Handa as Kibito (Mini)

Toru Sakurai as Mr. Satan (Mini)
I never dreamed that I would be in Dragon Ball, a show I watched as a child, so I'm very happy. When I heard that I accepted the role of Mr. Satan (Mini), more than genuinely enjoying the excitement, has yet to see the reality. I played the role while recalling the image of Mr. Satan as a child. a child! Stay tuned for Dragon Ball DAIMA!
Shiho Amura as Majin Buu (Mini)
I played the video game Dragon Ball when I was younger, but I was so weak that I often pouted. And now I get to play the ultimate Majin Buu (Mini)…! It's unbelievable that I got to be on the show, so I'm very, very grateful. I think people will see a different side of these familiar characters! This is a show that kids and adults alike can enjoy, so let's all go on an epic adventure with Goku and his friends!
Dragon Ball DAIMA begins airing on October 11, 2024.
Dragon Ball Daima is streamed on Crunchyroll in the United States, Canada, Latin America (including Brazil), Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, and Southeast Asia regions.
The anime is also streaming on Netflix starting October 14 in Asia and globally on October 18.
This marks the return of the series Dragon Ball on television for the first time in six years, after the end Dragon Ball Super in March 2018.
Notably, this is the first time in the series' history that a Dragon Ball anime will air in the late night time slot.
Dragon Ball Daima is an original anime series with content written by the late Akira Toriyama.
Toriyama was deeply involved in the production process, overseeing the story, character designs, and many other elements.
The anime is co-directed by Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara and character animation by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.
Zedd feat. C&K. performed the opening theme song of the anime 'Jaka Jaan' in collaboration with Zedd. Who performed the ending theme song 'NAKAMA'.
The plot revolves around the Z characters along with the Supreme Kai being turned into children by their enemies.
