Latest feature film of the series Detective Conan titled Detective Conan: Million Dollar Pentagramcontinues to dominate the Japanese box office.
According to the latest box office information announced by Kogyo Tsushin, the film has exceeded 12.099 billion yen after only 25 days of release, attracting more than 8.45 million viewers.
This is the fourth consecutive week that the film has held the number one position on the box office revenue chart. During the weekend alone, the film attracted 1.13 million viewers and generated revenue of 1.627 billion yen, surpassing the previous week's figure.
Detective Conan: Million Dollar Pentagram hits theaters in Japan on April 12, 2024.
The film achieved the second highest opening weekend gross for an anime film, surpassing JJK 0's total opening weekend gross (2.6 billion yen).
The film also surpassed the opening days of the 26th feature film with a significant increase of 112%.
The film also surpassed the 10 billion yen mark within just 22 days of release, marking the first time in Japanese animation history that a franchise has achieved 10 billion yen for two consecutive films.

Twenty-seven feature films based on the series Case Closed has been released. They were animated by TMS Entertainment and produced by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation, Nippon Television, ShoPro and Toho. The first seven films were directed by Kenji Kodama, films 8–14 were directed by Yasuichiro Yamamoto, films 15–21 were directed by Kobun Shizuno, films 22 were directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, films 23 and 24 were directed by Chika Nagaoka, and 25 directed by Susumu Mitsunaka.
Detective Conan, is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It was serialized in Shogakukan's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday since January 1994, with the chapters collected into 102 tankōbon volumes as of September 2022.
Due to legal issues with the name Detective Conan, the English version by Funimation and Viz was renamed to Case Closed.
