After release Haibara Ai Monogatari ~Kurogane no Mystery Train~Indian cinema chain, PVR INOX Pictures, announced on August 23, 2023 that it will release Detective Conan’s 26th film, titled Detective Conan. Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine in India.
The film is slated to hit theaters on August 25, 2023.
PVR also held a special ceremony for screening fans Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine on August 16, 2023.
PVR describes the plot of the film as follows:
“’Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine’ follows the thrilling prison break of Conan, a student-cum-detective who skillfully solves crime at the tip of his fingers. The action takes place on the island of Hachijo-jima, where a ‘secret technology’ that can change the fate of the world is being invented. When a female engineer who plays an important role in the project is kidnapped by the evil Black Organization, Conan and his Detective Boys must save the world.
Can Conan and the group save the day? Will he be able to defeat the Black Organization? Will ‘secret technology’ fall into the wrong hands? Equip Indian Otakus as all these questions will be answered in the upcoming ‘Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine’.”
Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine was released in theaters in Japan on April 14, 2023. It became the first film in the series to gross 10,304,483,700 billion yen at the box office.
The film is directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa and written by Takeharu Sakurai. Yugo Kanno is responsible for composing the music for the film.
25th movie, Detective Conan: The Halloween Bride was released on April 15, 2022, debuting at number 15. 1 in its first week of release, selling approximately 1,321,944 tickets in its first three days. The film earned more than 7.5 billion yen in 31 days after its release on April 15.
Twenty-five feature films based on the series Case Closed has been released. They are animated by TMS Entertainment and produced by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation, Nippon Television, ShoPro and Toho. The first seven films were directed by Kenji Kodama, films 8–14 directed by Yasuichiro Yamamoto, films 15-21 directed by Kobun Shizuno, films 22 directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, films 23 and 24 directed by Chika Nagaoka, and films 25 is directed by Susumu Mitsunaka.
Detective Conan, is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan .’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday since January 1994, with the chapters collected into 102 tankōbon volumes as of September 2022.
Due to legal issues with this name Detective Conan, the English version of Funimation and Viz was renamed to Case Closed.
Anime version of Case Closed produced by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation and TMS Entertainment. Over 1000 episodes have aired in Japan since the anime premiered on January 8, 1996, making it the 15th longest-running anime series to date.
