Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream BLUE LOCK Season 2 starting at 9 a.m. PT on October 5. The highly anticipated sequel will premiere in Japan on the same day and to help fans review reminiscing about the first season, Crunchyroll has prepared a summary video:
The second season of the anime BLUE LOCK, BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN, expected to be 14 episodes long. Studio 8bit will return to animation, with Yuji Haibara as main director and Shintaro Inokawa as director. Taku Kishimoto is designing the characters with original author Mineyuki Kaneshiro on the story layout. Kenji Tanabe will return as character designer (Kento Toya, who also served as character designer in the first season, will not). Jun Murayama is composing music.
