Crunchyroll has added the anime Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom, the sequel anime Hakuōki: Record of the Jade Blood and the Hakuoki: Demon of the prequel anime Fleeting Blossom-Dawn of the Shinsengumi will premiere on Wednesday.
The television anime Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom premiered in April 2010 and aired for 12 episodes. Hakuōki: Record of the Jade Blood premiered in October 2010 and has 10 episodes. The prequel anime Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom-Dawn of the Shinsengumi premiered in July 2012 and has 12 episodes.
Crunchyroll added the franchise's Hakuōki (OAV 2021) anime (pictured right) to users in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East, and CIS in December 2020. 2021.
Anime franchise based on the romance game series under Idea Factory's Otomate franchise. The story of the game franchise and its anime adaptations revolves around the historical Shinsengumi samurai group in Kyoto during the 19th century.
Aksys Games and Idea Factory International have published several games in the series in English.
