The anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and management company VTuber Nijisanji are teasing an upcoming collaboration, which will officially launch on March 1 this year. The cooperation in question is related to goods.
Alban Knox, Fulgur Ovid, Uki Violeta, Sonny Brisko, Enna Alouette, Millie Perfait and Reimu Endou all participate in the Code Geass collaboration.
The partnership announcement comes after the Code Grass franchise revealed a new project titled Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, which released a new trailer alongside its May 2024 launch. The new title, which will be shown in four parts, will be produced by Sunrise, with Yoshimitsu Ohashi directing, Noboru Kimura writing the series, and Takahiro Kimura and Hidekazu Shimamura serving as character designers.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is an original anime series by Sunrise. The first season aired from October 2006 to July 2007 for 25 episodes, with the sequel Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 airing from April to September 2008, also for 25 episodes. It spawned countless OVAs, including the five-episode Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, released in June 2017.
Crunchyroll is streaming the original Code Geass anime, describing the plot as follows: The year 2017 is on the Imperial calendar and much of the world is under the control of the Holy Britannian Empire. Lelouch Lamperouge, an exiled British prince, meets a strange girl named CC, who grants him great and terrible power. Geass. With this powerful ability, Lelouch can make anyone do what he wants. But the power of Geass: is it a blessing… or a curse?
