A report from Anime Senpai has confirmed that the alcoholic and fan-favorite bassist Bocchi the Rock! character Kikuri Hiroi will return as the lead in a new spinoff. The side story announcement was made in January, with the reveal of its main character causing a stir in April. This anime, produced by CloverWorks, was released in 2022 and became an unexpected hit in a series of compelling animated films, including Chainsaw Man, Bleach: Thousand Year Blood-War, My Hero Academia Season 6, Thus, it has given the manga a significant increase in sales, making it one of the biggest assets of the Houbunsha publisher. What is Bocchi the Rock! About?
Bocchi Stone! tells the story of a young girl named Hitori Gotou, an extremely clumsy child who can barely speak softly due to severe social anxiety. Even so, she still works hard to play the guitar well, hoping to one day perform on stage and impress everyone. This caught her eye of Nijika Ijichi, a drummer who recruited Hitori into her band. The group, known as the Kessoku Band, work together to make good music as Hitori learns to grow as a social site.
