Official website of the anime BLUELOCK-Episode Nagi- coming out announced on August 16, 2023 that the film will hit Japanese theaters in spring 2024.
The film is based on the side story manga “BLUELOCK-Episode Nagi-,” by Kota Sannomiya. It focuses on the character Nagi Seishiro and depicts the battle inside Blue Lock from his point of view.
A new trailer and key visual have been revealed to celebrate this announcement.

The image features Nagi Seishiro and Mikage Reio, both wearing TEAM V bibs from the main selection “Blue Lock”, along with the catchphrase “My life was filled with boredom until I met him”.
The film will feature former staff and cast members.
Shunsuke Ishikawa will direct the series at Eight Bit, with Taku Kishimoto in charge of the script. Nomura is designing the characters and Jun Murayama is composing the music.
Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since August 2018, with its chapters collected into 25 tankobon volumes as of July 2023.
An anime television series adaptation produced by Eight Bit aired from October 2022 to March 2023.
