Official Twitter account of Blue Lock has revealed the release date for the anime's highly anticipated second season. According to the announcement, anime Blue Lock Season 2 is scheduled to begin airing in October 2024.
An illustration drawn by mangaka Yusuke Nomura was revealed to commemorate the announcement.
The Blue Lock anime aired on October 8, 2022 in Japan.

The anime adaptation was made by Eight Bit Studios and directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director.
Music was provided by Jun Murayama, Taku Kishimoto handled series layout and script, Masaru Shindō designed the main characters and served as chief animation director, and Hisashi Tojima served as main action director.
Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. The story has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018. A spin-off manga focusing on Seishiro Nagi has also begun serialization in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen Magazine of Kodansha July issue.
Blue Lock won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category in 2021.
