Alan Wake II is a famous upcoming survival horror game, developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games Publishing.
After a long wait, Remedy Entertainment has finally revealed the official system requirements that users’ PCs must meet if they want to experience this horror game. Overall, you need a system with powerful configurations to take full advantage of Alan Wake II’s graphical features.
Remedy Entertainment has released detailed performance targets for various hardware configurations and graphics setups. For example, for a mid-quality 1080p Alan Wake II experience without ray tracing, Remedy recommends setting up an RTX 3070 combined with a Ryzen 7 3700X. This configuration is enough to provide a relatively smooth 60FPS experience.
In case the player wants to enable ray tracing effects, the system requirements will be more stringent. For low level ray tracing experiences at 1080p/30 FPS, RTX 3070 is the recommended minimum. Users can use the RTX 4080 to get higher quality ray tracing with the path tracing feature. Even then, the DLSS upscaling feature must still be used in Performance mode just to maintain 60 FPS.
