Black Clover returns this fall with chapters 374-376 to end 2024 in the grandest style possible. From eye-catching layouts to beautifully colored pages and well-written dialogue, series creator Yuki Tabata has shown incredible progress in visuals, pacing, and ultimately, writing. How moving to Jump GIGA has been extremely beneficial to Black Clover's story.
Chapters 374, 375, and 376 of Black Clover never felt rushed. Even though it felt like I was able to get through the chapters quickly thanks to minimal dialogue and mostly intense action, I still felt like the wait was worth it just like I did with the last few chapters that were just focused on Noelle and the rest of the Silva family.

Black Clover Chapter 372 and 373 Review
Tabata's knack for consistently creating incredible developments for supporting characters is a rarity among mangakas today, especially those in the fighting action genre. It's easy for authors to get so lost in their own massive stories that side characters become little more than nothing.
Luckily, Tabata shows in these chapters that he cares about the side characters, such as Nacht and Morgen, as much as the main ones in Asta, Yuno, and Noelle. In other words, he gives the right characters their moments without feeling like he's straying too far from the other battles like so many other manga tend to do, which takes away from the important moment. That problem does not appear at this time in Black Clover.
While social media fan accounts and the like will argue back and forth about power scaling and the like, the real issue is simply what Tabata is doing for Stories at this point are gold. The illustrations in these chapters are so sharp that I even sympathize with studio Pierrot for wanting to take a break from the anime for the foreseeable future—the illustrations are very detailed and intense.
Seeing Tabata call Weekly Shonen Jump a'happy hell' seems par for the course. Before the move, his artwork was in decline, especially in action scenes where it was really hard to tell what was going on. Now, with recent chapters, it's clear that Tabata is benefiting greatly from GIGA's seasonal schedule instead of his former publisher's brutal schedule.

Seeing Yami possess demonic traits while not technically taking on a demonic form himself like Nacht or Asta is amazing to witness, let alone slashing Lucius' clone and saving Ichika in that process. Going full bro mode once again proves that Yami is indeed one big teddy bear behind the poop meals, cigarettes, beer, and insatiable appetite.
The family apology between him and Ichika continues from what we have read with the Silva family very well, especially when we consider the contrast between both families which cannot be day and night better. Although Noelle's emotions are hit harder, they are not absent from these chapters.
These chapters are another demonstration of how Tabata's ability to focus on killing a loved one disrupts even one's thoughts. the most calm characters like Nacht, someone who has rarely shown any emotions up to this point. It was one thing to see Noelle cry and her siblings cry, it was another to see Nacht and Ichika shed tears. And most of all, Nacht fighting alongside Yami brought back great memories with our beloved MC.
While the fight with Acier may seem rushed to some, the pacing of these chapters is otherwise absolutely perfect. The difference is very detailed. The conversation moved like a freight train. I mean, 'Tears do not mark the end of sin' has to be one of the hardest lines to drop this year. So shout out to Tyler Engel for the translation work as well.
So where will we go? Well, Lucius is still at large. But it seems like Black Clover is getting closer to its final moments. With Noelle's victory, along with Mereoleona against Moris, and now Nacht and Yami against Morgen, there's not much left to go on other than the final match between Asta and Yuno against Lucius.
It's bittersweet to see such a great series with some of the best stories in current manga come to an end, but it's so satisfying to see Black Clover return to top form since then. since the magazine moved—and these chapters will show that.

I have no real criticisms for the recent Black Clover chapters. The emotions from Ichika and Nacht, the emptiness of Morgen's 'puppet' body and the emotional toll he faces, and of course, Yami acting colder and more collected than ever , even in death, brought everything together perfectly. for each character.
Black Clover chapters 374-376 score: 10/10
