Warner Bros. Japan announced that it has given the green light to the production of the animated film Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, sequel to the 2018 film Batman Ninja. On Thursday, May 30, 2024,
Batman Ninja is a unique 2018 American-Japanese animated superhero film in which DC Comics' Batman travels back in time to Japan's Warring States Period. During this era, Batman fights against DC Super-Villains, including a feudal lord version of The Joker.
Warner Bros. Japan Reveals Batman Ninja Anime Movie Sequel
The new movie Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League has been announced by Warner Bros. Japan approved the production, following the positive reception of the original film. The sequel will be produced in collaboration with Kamikaze Douga, the studio that made the first film. Kamikaze Douga is also known for animating STARWARS: VISIONS The Duel and animating the opening theme for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime series.
Koichi Yamadera, known as “the man with the seven-color voice”, will continue to take on the role of Batman. Yamadera is recognized for his roles as Zohakuten in Demon Slayer, Beerus in Dragon Ball Super and Kouichi Zenigata in Lupine the IIIrd.
The upcoming film will be directed by Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi, written by Kazuki Nakashima and designed by Takashi Okazaki. Yugo Kanno, who worked on the first film, will return to compose music for the sequel.
More details about Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League will be revealed at the Warner Bros. Theatrical Event. Japan during Anime Expo 2024. The event is scheduled to take place on July 4, 2024, from 2 to 3:30 pm (PST) at Novo in Los Angeles. Additionally, Warner Bros.
