The anime series “Attack on Titan,” adapted from the manga of the same name, is coming to an end nearly a decade after its first episode. Fans are eagerly awaiting the final episode, scheduled to air on November 4, which will last 90 minutes.
Diehard fans of the series are well aware of the deep bond between Eren and Mikasa. Together they have faced countless challenges, but recent developments have disappointed many “Eremika” shippers.
Eren Yeager chose a different path, alienating himself from his close friends, Mikasa and Armin. Empowered by the Founding Titan, Eren is on the verge of destruction. To prevent her destruction, Mikasa must face some heartbreaking choices.
Easter eggs inspire hope for Eren & Mikasa shippers
Considering the dire circumstances surrounding the main characters of “Attack on Titan,” the story’s conclusion seems to go one of two ways: Either Eren wins, leading to the deaths of his friends, or Mikasa and the Alliance members find a way to stop him.
However, a glimmer of hope emerged from the recently released updated version of the final season poster for “Attack on Titan.” On the surface, the poster simply depicts a cabin in the woods along with two easily visible Shadows that look like Titans considering their size.
However, a closer look at the main image reveals silhouettes of two people inside the hut. The characters appear to be sharing an intimate moment.
Many fans speculate that these characters are none other than Eren and Mikasa.
Given their precarious situation, this subtle hint rekindles hope among Eren and Mikasa enthusiasts. They are holding on to the opportunity to see their beloved couple come to fruition.
For those who have delved into the manga, the fate of these characters is no mystery.
