Licensed Attack on Titan merchandise is back with a new batch of popular Eren and Jean necklaces, released on their official birthday and reminiscent of classic icons from the popular dark fantasy series.
Japanese merchandise brand Fanitem is back with a second sale of a pair of popular Attack on Titan jewelry, inspired by Jean Kirstein and protagonist Eren Yeager. The necklaces come in both gold and silver versions, modeled after references from the series. Both cost $142 and ship worldwide, and are available to order until September 3, 2024. You can see images and more information about the Attack on Titan necklaces below.
Official Attack on Titan Eren and Jean Birthday Necklaces Released Worldwide
The necklace stones are customizable for both sets of necklaces, and include Smoky Quartz (Light Brown), Garnet (Red Brown), Aquamarine (Light Blue), Diamond (White), and Emerald (Green). Jean's horseshoe-shaped necklace alludes to his popular nickname of “horseface” during his time in the Survey Corps; the flower silhouette visible on the surface represents the Armeria/sea thrift flower. Meanwhile, Eren's necklace represents the key to his father's basement, marking a turning point in the entire series. Fans can purchase the necklace pair from Fanitem's website, with an expected delivery date of approximately 100 days after purchase. They were originally released to celebrate the characters' birthdays, with Eren celebrating his birthday on March 30 while Jean's is on April 7. Meanwhile, Attack on Titan author Hajime Isayama celebrated his own birthday this month, turning 38 on August 29.
Fanitem's jewelry set follows U-Treasure's similar Attack on Titan necklaces, which feature stones inspired by Eren (Ruby Red), Mikasa (Sapphire Blue), Armin (Sky Blue), Jean (Forest Green), and Levi (Peridot Green). MAYLA previously released a set of Attack on Titan earrings, with Jean swapping out for Erwin and Hange. Notable symbols include Eren's skeleton, Hange's glasses, and Levi's Wings of Freedom. Most recently, however, MAYLA has released a stunning pair of Attack on Titan heels, which reference the ribcage of Eren's Founding Titan form.
Fans who want to revisit Attack on Titan can stream the anime on Crunchyroll. It was recently revealed that the final Attack on Titan specials will be getting a theatrical compilation film with updated cuts, although it's unclear if there are plans for an English release. The series is described as follows: “Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the colossal man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared stray from the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors rarely returned alive. The people of the city cling to the illusion of a peaceful life until the day that dream is shattered, and their slim chance of survival is reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!”
