Attack on Titan The Final Season gave fans a sneak peek at the series finale with an action-packed trailer.
The half-minute promotional video showcases the highly anticipated climactic final battle, in which Eren Jaeger must finally face off against his former allies. The clip gives viewers a glimpse of the long-awaited series finale, with appearances from several fan-favorite characters, such as Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman and Pieck Finger . The trailer also confirms the rumored release date of Attack on Titan The Final Season, which was previously leaked by an unreleased video posted by Japanese mass media publishing company Pony Canyon.
Based on the hugely popular manga of the same name by mangaka Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan is a dark action film set in a world where giant cannibalistic humanoids called Titans seem to forced the remnants of humanity to hide behind three giant walls. The film premiered in 2013 under the direction of Wit Studio and was widely acclaimed for its breathtaking animation and engaging storytelling. Since then, it has become one of the most popular anime titles of all time, with the series even winning the prestigious Digital Content of the Year Award from the Japanese government’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Awarded.
Attack on Titan Final chapters
Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 4 will contain the final chapters of the critically acclaimed manga. Eren, now in control of the Founding Titan, initiated the Rumbling, an apocalyptic event that saw hundreds of Colossal Titans flood the lands beyond Paradis Island. Desperate to prevent further bloodshed, Levi’s Special Operations Squad forms an uneasy alliance with the Marleyan Titan Shifters in a last-ditch effort to stop Eren and the Rumbling.
While longtime fans of the series are anxious to see the much-awaited conclusion to Attack on Titan’s decades-long story, some viewers have also expressed concerns about the controversial ending of the original movie. Many readers criticized the manga’s ending, with some fans stating that the ending seemed rushed and left much to be desired in terms of pacing and appropriate characterization. Isayama himself admitted that he had reservations about the ending of Attack on Titan and whether he could truly deliver a satisfying conclusion to the beloved series. “I still have doubts within myself,” he said. “Have I landed yet? I’m not even sure. I still struggle on this point and I am very sorry about that.”
Attack on Titan Season 4 will finally premiere on November 4 and will be available to stream on Crunchyroll.
