The official Twitter account for the TV Anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Ōima’s Manga To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) announced on March 12, 2023 that the Anime will have a third season. The account also revealed that Fushi’s journey will continue with the “This World” part of the New Season.

The 20th and final episode of Season Two aired in Japan on March 12, 2023.
The first season of the Anime premiered in April 2021. Originally, the Anime was scheduled to premiere in October 2020, but was delayed due to the Anime’s production schedule being heavily affected by COVID-19.
Ōima launched the manga in November 2016 in Weekly Shounen Magazine. The first part of the Manga ended in December 2019. The second part premiered in January 2020 and ended in October 2022. The third part of the Manga debuted on January 25.
The story is described:
It, being an immortal object, was sent to Earth, It has no emotions, nor an identity. However, It can enter any being with energy. At first, It was a round sphere. Then it started to simulate the shape of the rock. The temperature has dropped and the snow is already thick, It’s starting to simulate moss plants on the rocks. When wounded, a lonely wolf lay dead quietly in the snow, It began to mimic the shape of that wolf. Eventually, it gained consciousness and wandered through the deserted village of Tsundra until it met a boy. The boy is living alone in this ghost village, when the adults have gone to find paradise in the white sea of snow. However, their efforts were in vain and now the boy has passed away in a desperate state. It takes the form of a boy and begins a never-ending journey, to gain experiences, discover new places and meet new people.
After dying many times, he is found in the swamp by March, a little girl who wishes to be a good mother, but unfortunately she is chosen as a sacrifice to a mad psychic bear. . She names him “Fushi” and befriends him, teaching him how to eat and be less wild.
The manga series won the Best Manga Shounen award at the 43rd Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in May 2019.
