The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinals begins airing on October 2 on TV Tokyo and other channels. The anime focuses on the semi-final match between Japan and Germany.
Yoshinobu Tokumoto (The Prince of Tennis II OVA vs. Genius episode 10 episode director) will direct the anime at MSC. Akiharu Ishii (The Prince of Tennis) will design the characters. Mitsutaka Hirota (The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup) is in charge of writing the series. Chihiro Tamaki (The Prince of Tennis II Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future) is composing the music.
Additional personnel include:
emBLEm=ADLER, a unit comprised of members of the anime's German team, will perform the anime's ending theme song “GLANZ”. The performers are Ryōtarō Okiayu (Kunimitsu Tezuka), Kentarō Tone (Jürgen Borisovich Volk) and Mitsuki Saiga (Q・P).
The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup premiered on TV Tokyo in July 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan and also streamed the English dub. This anime is the first new television anime in the series in about a decade.

Keiichiro Kawaguchi (ISLAND) returns from The Prince of Tennis II Hyotei vs Rikkai Game of Future to direct the new series at Studio KAI and MSC, and Mitsutaka Hirota (Anime-Gataris, Nanbaka) is again supervising the script. Akiharu Ishii (Blood+, Ultramarine Magmell) returns to design the characters and serve as chief animation officer.
