Official Twitter account Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun has revealed a new trailer for the upcoming spin-off anime, titled After-school Hanako-Kun on September 14, 2023.
The trailer introduces the ending theme song “Koi! Koi Koi,” performed by Akari Kito, Yuri Yoshida, Chitose Morinaga and Mai Kanazawa as their characters Nene Yashiro and Mokke.

Hanako-Kun after schoolwhich will run as 10-minute mini-episodes, is scheduled to air on October 12, 2023, and span a four-week period.
Crunchyroll will stream the series at 11:00 a.m. Pacific time the same day as its Japanese release in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East, CIS, and India.
The anime will be produced by Lerche and directed by Masaki Kitamura, with the script written by Kazuma Nagatomo. Aya Higami will be in charge of character design, and will also take on the role of animation director.
Hiroshi Takaki will compose the music.
The cast from the previous anime will return for the spin-off.
The official Toilet Bound Hanako-kun Twitter account previously revealed a new anime project, “Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Anime Project Restart”.
The anime adaptation of Lerche’s Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun, aired in Japan from January 9, 2020 to March 26, 2020. The series is 12 episodes long.
Hanako-kun in the bathroom is a Japanese manga series by AidaIro. It has been serialized in Square Enix’s monthly G Fantasy magazine since 2014. It has been collected into eighteen tankōbon volumes as of August 2022. The manga is licensed in North America by Yen Press.
