Kadokawa revealed on March 16, 2023 that the television anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s Oshi no Ko manga will premiere on April 12 on Tokyo MX.
The 90-minute version of the first episode will be shown in advance in cinemas across Japan starting March 17.
Daisuke Hiramaki and Chao Nekotomi will direct the film at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka is handling the drama’s scripts. Kanna Hirayama is designing the characters.
YOASOBI will perform the opening theme song “Idol”. Queen Bee will perform the ending theme song “Mephisto.”
