No Longer Allowed In Another World is a manga series written by Hiroshi Noda and illustrated by Takahiro Wakamatsu (both famous for Love After World Domination). It was first published in October 2019 at Shogakukan’s Yarawaka Spirits website before publishing the first volume in April 2020. There are currently nine published volumes and a 10th volume will be released on February 9, 2024. The anime adaptation was first announced in June 2023 with a teaser image and trailer.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed and published the manga in English. The website describes the series as follows: A second life in another world with cute girls by your side and video game-like powers – sounds like a dream, right? Not for Osamu Dazai, a melancholy author who would literally rather die. All the fantasy adventures he has to go on only get in the way of his dream of finding the perfect place to die. However, no matter how much risk he took, everything seemed to turn out okay. In this cheerful, bleak new isekai comedy, will our terminally depressed hero find a new way of life?
