The Dragon Ball universe is in full swing again with the arrival of a new trailer for Dragon Ball Daima and some information that has everyone confused. In it, a glimpse of Kid Goku, raises the possibility of an interesting plot twist involving Majin Buu.
The young version of Majin Buu is not Kid Buu
At the beginning, Dragon Ball Daima promises to shake things up with an unprecedented story, placing Goku and his gang in front of a challenge where everyone becomes children. Accidentally causing Buu to have a smaller version of himself, instead of Kid Buu as we know.
This came as a shock to many, especially during Dragon Ball Games’ special Hour of Battle event, where new character designs were revealed, including a more compact-looking Majin Buu. This detail is beyond the expectations of those who thought Buu would return to his original form, Kid Buu.
Admittedly, Majin Buu’s situation in Dragon Ball Daima is very special. His appearance raises more questions than answers. Akio Iyoku, the film’s producer mentioned a “conspiracy” surrounding the anime, adding to the mystery as to why Buu shrank instead of becoming the Kid Buu version.
For example, if the cast change was the result of a wish from the Divine Dragon, why didn’t Buu return to his more original form?
Buu’s new form makes sense for Goku and the story
The incident with Buu leads us to an even more intriguing storyline, especially since Goku may have to leave Earth. Is he searching for answers to undo the sudden transformation that brought them back to childhood? “Dragon Ball Daima” promises to explore untapped territories and the possibility that Goku has lost his legendary powers, such as Super Saiyan or Ultra Instinct. This will add tension to the story.
The course of these events makes “Dragon Ball Daima” a fertile ground for theories and speculation. What really happened to Majin Buu and how will it affect Goku and his friends?
The series seems to be setting the stage for an adventure where past and present meet in a whole new way, challenging our expectations.
