Dragon Ball Daima Characters (Mini) Explained
Miniatures of officially named characters
With Dragon Ball Daima seeing Goku and the rest of the cast turned into children, people often refer to Goku in Daima as “Kid Goku” again, but that is clearly not true. Following the release of the new trailer, the official Dragon Ball website was updated with new information about the story and revealed that Dragon Ball ZThe version of Goku is called Goku (Mini) instead of Kid Goku. Other returning characters have similar naming schemes, so the old “Kid” naming scheme will likely not be used in Dragon Ball Daima.
The name (Mini) also has a lot to do with the anime's central gimmick. With Goku and everyone else being noted as miniature versions of themselves as opposed to child versions of themselves, it could be that Dragon Ball Z actually has the cast shrink in size and strength instead of turning back into kidsand that would explain why characters like Krillin and Piccolo don't have official child designs. Goten and Trunks looking like babies further complicates that idea, but with the series debuting in October, it won't be long before things are fully clarified.
