Cowboy Bebop has received a new trailer thanks to a new Overwatch 2 collaboration.
YouTube channel PlayOverwatch has brought back the Bebop crew for “The Final Mission?” in a special new video produced by Blizzard Entertainment. The 1:34 clip pays tribute to the original Cowboy Bebop opening video directed by the legendary Shinichiro Watanabe, with stunning artwork from celebrities Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine, etc. You can watch the video below .

The Overwatch 2 x Cowboy Bebop collaboration will take place on March 12, 2024 and is officially introduced: “Ready to join the bounty hunt? From iconic music to a Western space aesthetic, celebrate the legendary crew of Bebop as Overwatch 2 x Cowboy Bebop hits the game on March 12. Overwatch 2 is free to play for Everyone on consoles and PC!” The collaboration will see players unlock Cowboy Bebop-inspired skins and emotes, as well as listen to songs from the series. Legendary skins to unlock include “Spike Spiegel” for Cassidy, “Faye Valentine” for Ashe, “Jet Black” for Mauga, “Ed” for Sombra, and “Ein” for Wrecking Ball. Da Ein will be unlocked for free upon completing certain challenges.

Overwatch 2 previously teamed up with One-Punch Man, continuing the trend of collaborations with popular anime series. “We are honored to partner with one of the most revered anime series of all time in Cowboy Bebop,” said Overwatch 2 Vice President Aimee Dennett. This collaboration is a great way to pay homage to the legendary stories, art, animation and music of the Cowboy Bebop series.
