Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama served as the main writer of the series. Crunchyroll offers the following synopsis of the anime: After 18 years, we have the latest Dragon Ball story from creator Akira Toriyama. When Majin Buu was defeated, Goku took on a whole new role as… a radish farmer?! With Earth at peace, our heroes have settled into normal lives. But they can’t get too comfortable. In the distance, the powerful God of Destruction, Beerus, awakens to a prophecy revealing his death at the hands of an even more formidable creature. When his search for the Saiyan God brings him to Earth, will Goku and his friends be able to take on their strongest enemy?
