Anime Jii-san Baa-san Wakagaeru will premiere on April 7, as previously announced along with new trailer and images. Details about the theme songs were also announced, specifically Koresawa’s “Kimi ga Ojiichan, Atashi ga Obaachan” as the opening theme and “Soitoge YO-YO!!” of Shozo and Ine, the main characters of the series.
Studio GEKKOU is animating the film under the direction of Masayoshi Nishida. Yukie SUGAwara is writing the series while Nagisa Takahashi is designing the characters. Tomoki Hasegawa is composing music. The cast includes:

- Nao Toyama plays Shiori
- Junta Terashima as Shota
- Kazuyuki Okitsu plays Yoshiaki

The anime Jii-san Baa-san Wakagaeru was first announced in August 2023. It is based on the web manga of the same name written and illustrated by Araido. It was first released on Twitter and Pixiv in October 2019, then on Nico Nico Manga in February 2020. Currently, Kadokawa has published seven manga volumes.
The manga is about an elderly couple named Shozo and Ine Saito, who suddenly find themselves back to their youth. It tells about the young couple’s daily life and family time, and you can see them defying the expectations of young people.
