The 16bit anime Sensation: Another Layer received a main trailer introducing the characters, the bishoujo game development theme, and the opening song “65535” by Shouko Nakagawa.
The promotional video also reveals the anime’s Japanese premiere date of October 4 (which is October 5 at 12:30 a.m. JST) and the time travel element of the story, with illustrated heroine Konoha Akisato finds himself transported from modern times to 1992, around the time of the 16bit Sensation manga.
Besides the trailer, the anime also features key images and information about the new cast, with the newly announced cast including Kentarou Itou as Tenchou, Jun Fukushima as Jiangshi and Aya Yamane as Touya Yamada.

16bit Sensation was originally a doujinshi created by Mitsumi Misato and Aquaplus’ Tatsuki Amazuyupublished at Comiket since 2016. Manga published by KADOKAWA of Tamiki Wakaki started in 2020 and has two tankoubon volumes as of November 2021.
The manga series began in 1992 and follows Meiko Uehara, a college student who has a part-time job at a PC store. However, Meiko’s workplace, behind the PC store facade, is actually an erotic game maker, and Meiko, who is skilled in drawing, is eventually asked to help draw over 18 illustrations. .
