Summary of Yuji Itadori's moves in the final arc of Jujutsu Kaisen
Protagonist Itadori Yuji awakens several powerful techniques in the final part of Jujutsu Kaisen, allowing him to rival Sukuna in his true form. Yuji is now much more powerful than a Special-class sorcerer.
Below, let's take a look at all of Yuji's powerful new techniques in Jujutsu Kaisen's final arc:
6 – Black Flash
Black Flash is one of the first moves Yuji learns in Jujutsu Kaisen, it is basically a powerful and complex punch.
Black Flash occurs when the user uses cursed energy in a physical attack, within 0.000001 seconds, causing the energy to turn black. It is very difficult to perform, even the strongest sorcerer cannot use it at will. But in the final battle with Sukuna alone, Yuji used Black Flash nearly 10 times in a row.
5 – Reverse the Formula
Before the final battle with Sukuna, Yuji trained for a month to prepare, and it was during this time that he learned the Reverse Technique. During his training, Yuji switched bodies with Yuta to understand how the Reverse Technique worked and was able to learn how to use it.
In the final part, although Yuji has not yet mastered the Reverse Technique, he is able to completely heal Sukuna's cut. Although Yuji cannot heal fatal wounds, what is interesting is that he can use the Reverse Technique in combination with the Scarlet Blood Technique to heal more internal wounds.
4 – Scarlet Blood Technique
By absorbing the embryos of Jiu Xiang Diagrams 4 to 9, Yuji was able to use the Scarlet Blood Technique. He later received advice from Choso and Noritoshi Kamo on how to use this technique during his 30 days of training in preparation for his fight with Sukuna.
As the name suggests, the Blood Piercing Technique allows the user to manipulate blood and use two other skills. One of these is for the user to compress their blood into a small ball in the palm of their hand. This small ball allows Yuji to use another technique called Piecing Blood, which turns into a jet of blood as fast as a bullet.
3 – The Simple Realm
Simple Domain is another technique that Yuji learned during the 30 days of training before facing Sukuna. To perform this technique, he switched bodies with Kusakabe, in order to understand the concept of it and learn how to use it.
Basically, Simple Domain is a defense technique against Domain Deployment, that is, it is an anti-domain, creating a small barrier around the user to protect itself from the enemy's domain expansion.
2 – Soul Dismantle
During the final battle against Sukuna, Yuji awakened his true potential and as a result, he gained a cursed technique very similar to Sukuna's.
Sukuna's domain expansion technique is called “Malevolent Shrine”, which allows him to use the Cleave and Dismantle techniques, which can basically cut through anything, even from a distance. Yuji can also use Cleave and Dismantle, but the difference is that Yuji needs to touch the thing he wants to cut.
However, to compensate for this weakness, Yuji can use the Soul Dismantle technique and directly attack the opponent's soul, to the point that Sukuna does everything he can to avoid being touched by Yuji.
What is Yuji Itadori's strongest move in the final arc of Jujutsu Kaisen?
1 – Territorial expansion
Finally, Yuji's new technique is Territory Expansion, which was revealed in chapters 264 and 265 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. However, we still don't know how this power actually works. Yuji takes Sukuna to a private space, which is actually a city with only the two of them, Yuji invites Sukuna to go for a walk and begins to tell him his story, revisiting the places he went when he was a child.
Sukuna asks Yuji what that power is, but Yuji himself doesn't know how to answer and says that he only uses it in times of desperation. Currently, Yuji and Sukuna are in this separate space, and chapter 266 of Jujutsu Kaisen, is expected to explain how Yuji's territory is deployed and what his power is.
